It is the intention to prepare skilled and effective female health workers to achieve the goals of National Rural Health Mission which aims bringing about dramatic improvement in the health system and health status of the country. ANM would be trained in community health skills to practice basic health care at a defined level of proficiency in accordance with local conditions and to meet the local health needs.
Age: 17 to 30 Years,
Sex: Females Only,
Qualification: 10+2 Passed (Any Stream) with 40% marks.
•The minimum educational requirements shall be 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health Care Science – Vocational Stream ONLY passing out from recognised Board.
•Student shall be medically fit.
•Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
•Student shall be admitted once in a year.
Community Health Nursing,
